Remedial – Sport Massage – Adjustments

Sports and remedial massage is a treatment that addresses targeted musculoskeletal issues to relieve pain, improve performance and enhance overall function in both athletes and non-athletes.

Sports massage is the choice for professional athletes and active individuals, but also beneficial for those recovering from any injury, experiencing postural issues or those seeking relief from muscle discomfort or tension.

We use a variety of techniques including deep tissue, stretches and trigger point therapy, to target and treat specific problem areas in your body.

Remedial – Sport Massage – Adjustments

Cupping

Cupping is a massage technique in which suction is created on the skin using cups. Our cups can be used on any region of the body. The therapy increases blood circulation and is effective to release tight muscles and can decrease inflammation.

Bioresonance

Bioresonance uses a machine to measure the frequency of energy wavelengths coming from your body. Those measures are then used to diagnose issues, informing how we treat you.

Vitamin Provision

Vitamins can be provided intravenous or through an injection, increasing the level of vitamins the body needs to function effectively. It can also offer the body extra hydration and bypasses the digestive system, making an impact quickly.

Electromagnetic Therapy

Electromagnetic therapy is a treatment based on the premise that when an injury occurs, re-energising electrical impulses is key to improving cell function, accelerating healing and improving levels of pain within the body.

Shockwave therapy

Shockwave therapy uses a specialist device to deliver acoustic energy through the skin to the injured part of the body. The shockwaves are mechanical, which increase the blood flow to the injured area.

Oxygen Therapy

Oxygen Therapy Chamber

Oxygen therapy can be referred to as either Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. During your therapy session, you will be breathing in a higher concentration of oxygen whilst under increased atmospheric pressure.

People with conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Parkinson’s, Stroke and Fibromyalgia and those who are suffering form long covid use the therapy as part of the management of their illness.

During therapy you will be breathing 95% oxygen, leading to an increase in the update of oxygen in your blood. Breathing high levels of oxygen under hyperbaric conditions dissolves more oxygen in all of the body’s fluids and therefore more can reach areas where the circulation is diminished, or blocked. This leads to better recovery for those who take part in the therapy.

Customer Testimonials

So pleased I found Raf! He has been incredible since I started seeing him for a bad back a few months ago. Not only are sessions incredibly helpful, but he’s provided incredibly useful advice and exercises for how to avoid my recurring back pain. I wouldn’t recommend any one else!

Henry, Aldershot
After sustaining a neck injury as a child, I have suffered my whole life with debilitating pain radiating down my back and legs. Since I started seeing Raf over six years ago, the difference has been massive. I still see him weekly to keep on top of it and I honestly don’t know what I would do without his help. Big thanks to Raf at RW Body Therapy.
Lee, Ash Vale

I tore my ACL around six months ago and have been seeing Raf since. He’s worked with me to create a plan for what to do at home, at the gym and how to manage the pain. So so helpful and you can tell he genuinely cares about you and your recovery journey. 5/5 for me!
